Meet Dr. Jarrod Faucher
“Growing up in the Worcester area, I was always interested in science. I also loved helping people. Becoming a doctor felt like the perfect way to do both. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross, I attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA.
As a double board-certified osteopathic physician trained in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, I went on to spend a decade caring for patients in the Worcester area. In that time, I treated hundreds of people and honed my skills as a practitioner. But, I became more and more frustrated with how the healthcare system let patients and doctors down.
My patient load grew. Visit times shrank. I felt constant pressure to sacrifice time with my patients to keep up with the requirements of the fee-for-service system.
I became a doctor because I wanted to practice medicine and make a difference in my patients' lives. Instead, I was burdened by hours of paperwork, coding, and billing that got in the way of patient care.
I decided I needed to leave medicine entirely or find a better way. Then, I discovered direct primary care. After careful research, I found this innovative healthcare model would enable me to focus on what's most important: you.

Your Faucher Direct Care membership fee covers well visits, sick visits, vaccines, tests, and more. Plus, you'll have access to Dr. Faucher via text, voicemail, and email for questions about your health anytime.
You can still be enrolled in Medicare or carry insurance to use when seeing other specialists or for surgeries or hospital stays. But by eliminating insurance from the primary care equation, we can spend more time empowering you with the best possible healthcare through a caring patient-physician relationship. All patients are encouraged to have some form of insurance coverage to comply with state regulations.
